Cobra Christmas Programme Diary

Hi everyone

As usual we will be making some changes to our normal programme over the Christmas and New Year period to include some festive and seasonal runs. I can now confirm that there will be the following runs over Christmas and New Year:

The last normal scheduled run will be this Thursday 18th December.

Sunday 21st December
John Lloyd Christmas Cracker handicap 5K 9.30 am Bumble Hole nature reserve. There is still time to enter if you want to run or marshall. Please message me if you haven’t already let me know. Handicaps will be sent out later this week.

Tuesday 23rd December
Easy festive run led by Catherine and Lee. 6.30 from Halesowen Cricket Club. Approximately 5k with a chance for a club photo by the Christmas Tree. All club members welcome to join. Afterwards I believe there will be a chance to buy a drink at the club and I’m told there may be mince pies.
Please note that we are not planning a separate longer run on the 23rd.

Christmas eve
No run from HCC

Christmas Day
No organised Cobra run. For those who still wish to run I believe some members are planning to do parkrun at Walsall arboretum and any members who wish to join them can do so.

Boxing Day
We are having the traditional club run over Walton Hill which will be led by Alan Davies. Meet 10 am Walton Hill car park. The run is approximately 4 miles at easy pace and suitable for all club members. Off road shoes advised.

Sunday 28th
Cobra End of Year run led by Aldo Mussi 9..00 from MAC centre Cannon Hill Park. A flattish route through the park and along the canal. Approx 7.5 miles with a shorter option for 5.5 miles.

Tuesday 30th December
We are planning to have both the usual Tuesday run and an improvers session from HCC at 6.30. As there is no run on New Year’s eve, anyone who normally runs on a Wednesday is invited to join one of the runs.

New Years Eve
No club run Happy New Year to everyone.

New Years Day
No club run but I believe some members are planning to do Woodgate Valley. Parkrun.

Regards
